Frequently Asked Questions

Auto Q&A

With one-step polishing we use a mild to a light cutting polish, which does not remove heavy scratches. A one step polish is more of a brightener and shine enhancer. A two step is a combination of using a heavy to mild cutting compound followed by a light cutting polish to remove heavy scratches, haze, and paint imperfections.

Its personal preference really. However, generally I would recommend doing so twice annually – once before winter and again just prior to summer. This schedule helps ensure your car is prepared to withstand the challenging weather conditions of the colder months as well as shine during the pleasant conditions of the warmer seasons

Most trim care is temporary and will wear off as you wash or when it rains. Wipe New and Rustoleum Trim Restoration are an easy to apply wet wipe that can be found at any Walmart or auto parts store. Just wipe it on and dont get it on the paint. Use painters’ tape to mask off the trim before applying.

Marine Q&A

NO but using a light cutting polishing and waxing with a machine every year is fine! When you compound, you’re actually cutting down the thickness of the gelcoat a little bit every time. Once its compounded you want to protect the shine as much as possible to prolong that shine.

I use starbright instant hull cleaner. Just spray it on and watch it dissolve in seconds! Then just rinse it off with the hose.

Yes, I sure can! Doesn’t matter if it’s in a slip or in your driveway.
